Readying samples for analysis is easy, and they can be placed in the safety chamber with plenty of room to spare, or in sample cups, baggies or other containers depending on your need.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Technology<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The CTX800 measures elements from Magnesium to Uranium and uses a 50kV 4W Rhodium (Rh) thin window X-ray tube to analyze samples. The unit also features Bruker&#8217;s patented SharpBeam\u2122 optimized X-ray geometry, a large area silicon drift detector (SDD) with CUBE\u2122 technology and patented TITAN DetectorShield\u2122 to protect against detector puncture. The CTX 800 offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth\u00ae and USB connections. The touchscreen user-interface allows measurement control and provides an easy-to-read results display. The graphene Window SDD has an active area of 20mm<sup>2<\/sup>; resolution is &lt;145eV at 450k.<\/p>\n<p>The Toolbox software Bruker includes allows for full remote operation of the CTX 800.
